How to Become a Pilot After 12th Commerce?

If you are looking to become a pilot after 12th grade! Then here is a great opportunity to join flying school you need to pass 10+12 with any stream is mandatory.

Can a commerce student become a pilot?

Stream may not be that important which ever stream you choose after 10th grade its fine and you are eligible for applying for admission in flying school. Many flying schools offer the necessary programs who are willing to join this academy from non-science background.

So, there is nothing to be worried about though you are from a non-science stream and wanted to become a pilot.

Firstly, a commerce student needs to register by the flight school in distance education course which is conducted by National Institute of Open schooling.

With this distant course student will be able to complete 10+12 in science stream and these courses are also recognized by Government where this in turn non science stream students also can get the opportunity to enroll in flying schools with ease.

You can enrol for a course on online website provided by National Institute of Open School or you can visit a nearest flying school and can enroll yourself. As we know 10+12 is mandatory once 12th grade is done in science stream you may be able to join flying school and practice for Commercial Training License training.

  • There are certain you need to get done before you start.
  • Get medical tests done to check if are fit to fly or not.
  • Then after study and get to know about student pilot’s license.
  • Then after preparing for the entrance exam and you are set to go.

What is Commercial Pilot License?

Government flying training school provides many opportunities for the students who are willing to become pilot. They take 20-25 students per batch for CPL training.

Duration of CPL training course is 24 months with 200 hours minimum flying requirement. This CPL contains several courses like Air regulation, Air navigation, Aircraft General, Technical specific aircrafts, and engines.

Students Pilot License is consisting of both Private Pilots License and Commercial Pilot License where students pilot license cannot be taken independently and needs to meet certain requirements which are you need to complete 10th grade. No need of any flight experience and no age limit.

Career in Commercial Pilot in India After 12th

To take part in private pilots license the minimum age required is 17 years with 10th grade degreeand 40 hours flying training. The duration of this course is 12 months.

Commercial pilot license needs 10+12 passed with physics and maths subjects with 200 hours of flying training. Duration of this course is 24 months to take part in this training one must have minimum of 17 years and no maximum age limit specified.

Medical fitness is mandatory to qualify for pilot. Eyesight should be medically fit according to the standards given by Indian aircraft Rules. Students must qualify every test that is conducted by the Medical practitioner or Medical board to prove that you are fit for this course.

Government flying training school conducts 300 practical classes for CPL and ground classes required for PPL. The job profiles include maintenance manager, Quality manger, Skilled mechanics, semi-skilled mechanics, storekeeper, aircraft hand, aircraft helper all these roles come under technical staff.

In general pilot means air crew officers who control the flying operations of an aircraft. The flying operations are also called as Aviator, Commuter pilot, Aircraft pilot. This person can operate the directional flight controls and comes under part of aviation industry.

Initially you can fly as co-pilot. Later on, if you are interested in flying as captain then you need to have an Airline transport pilot license.

How to Become Commercial Pilot in India?

Commercial pilot license is one of the courses that is available to become pilotwhich is of three years duration. To apply for thiscourse, you need to complete 12th grade or diploma.

You must be passed your 12th grade with 50% or above to enrol yourself in flying school. Students who have completed 12th grade with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry can directly pursue this course even if not also there are so many options available for other stream students.

The students from another stream can join flying schools that give necessary training in schooling subjects which are needed to enrol yourself into this course. So, if you are from non-science stream also you don’t need to be worried.

There is maximum age limit for all the pilot training courses which is you need to be minimum of 17 years to join in these courses. The institutions are highly skilled and can give best and necessary training for the student who are willing to join this course.

It costs 45-60 lakhs to become a pilot and these costs can be varied from course to course and from institution to institution. This profession is the most respectful one with huge benefits. Flying plane would be so many peoples dream this can be easily achieved with hard work and dedication.
