High degree course
In order to become specialized in the specific area of nursing such as Oncological nursing Cardiological Nursing, Nephrological nursing etc., candidates can pursue M.Sc. in nursing. This course can only be eligible for the students who completed B.Sc with requisite marks.
The selection process for recruitment of nurse posts in government sector generally done based on written examination, interview, and skill test. Almost all government exams conducted on all India basis.
Candidates who wanted to get selected for this job must prepare systematically with strong determination and should perform well in the interview conducted by organization.
Nursing Salary:
Nurses in a government hospital get about 9,300 to 34,800 rupees plus grade pay at entry level. This may vary from different institutions. Generally, railway and defence sector offer jobs with same pay scales but allowances are often higher than public central and state-government hospitals.
There is wider scope for nurses even in long run too both in terms of money and other remunerations. With increasing experience one can expertise in this field.
Another scope for nursing professional is that they can also take up private independent assignments of health care from some well to do persons who needs the help of nurses during their recovery.
