What is journalism?
Journalism is an activity which involves creating, gathering, accessing, and presenting the information and news to the people. It is known as the work of a newspaper.

Eligibility for Journalism:
To apply for journalism course, you need to pass 12th class with minimum of 50% marks irrespective of stream.
Every college has its own demands like you have to possess good communication skills which are writing skills and reading skills in English.
Admissions are given based on your 12th grade marks or the entrance examinations where some college conduct interviews for students to shortlist them.
No matter whatever the stream you are from you are eligible for pursuing journalism. They need to attend entrance examination conducted bythe specific college.
Skills Required for Journalism:

Firstly, excellent written skills and speaking skills are needed. Knowledge about English language is mandatory as you need to work with media and production. Admission Process:
Admission into journalism courses will be based on merit or entrance-based.
